Is exercising at home effective?
Some people can under estimate the idea of doing some workouts at home. Because you’re not likely to have access to the same amount of equipment as in the gym. But sometimes having less choice can be a good thing. As for some people just starting out at a gym, it can feel overwhelming in the amount of machines. If you want to get some general activity.

What equipment can you use?

- Suspension trainer – you’ve likely seen this piece of kit in many gyms which frequently use TRX branded ones but you can get lower-cost alternatives that are just as good. Certain exercises you can use this piece of equipment to take pressure of certain areas to work around injuries.
- Kettlebell – want to add some weight to your workouts? You could grab some sets of kettlebells. A kettlebell are the are the cannon ball shaped weights with a handle. You can do many familiar strength training exercises in your exercise sessions.
- Walking – this does not require any investment. You don’t need to learn any you skills to be able to do. You only need access to your front door to get outside and to visit local areas, like parks.
They can be mobile
You can many of these pieces of equipment with you or just yourself outside in the garden. A local park or if you’re travelling with you to a hotel room. Because these options don’t take up a lot of space and some of them won’t be very heavy to take about with you.
As you can see there’s a good variety of different pieces of equipment to pick from. Just because your exercising at home doesn’t mean it can’t be as effective as using a gym. It doesn’t have to break the bank or be massively different from training in the gym, it’s possible to get a very similar experience.
